CATHOUSE SHOW | 2000

The Cathouse was a trailblazing live streaming show that ran from 1999–2000. All the fun and freakiness of the millennium could be found every Friday in a tiny 15' x 17' shack hidden in the Hollywood Hills. Formerly Charlie Chaplin's hunting lodge, it was packed with a parade of far out people and state-of-the-art streaming technology.

Gorgeous and fearless hostess Holly Lovecat left no taboo untouched or feather unruffled as she cajoled weekly celebrity guest DJ's and Chefs to ever greater heights of outrageousness mixing recipes and tunes. The Dinner and a DJ Show featured multi camera streams to fans and followers from Rejkyavik to Berlin to Cape Town before streaming was a "thing".

Curated and produced by Stagg, Lovecat and Berfin Haymes.
